A western North Carolina native, Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law. Prior to joining the Kania Law Firm as an Associate Attorney in 2019, her work experience included mortgage foreclosure actions and creditors’ rights and financial services litigation.
Lauren was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2014 and she is also a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the National Creditors Bar Association, the North Carolina Creditors Bar Association, and the Buncombe County Bar Association.
Outside of the firm, you may find Lauren and her husband exploring the outdoors and their new city of Asheville.
