John has been a licensed attorney in NC since 2016. He has served as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting criminal cases on behalf of the State of North Carolina and as a Sheriff’s Attorney providing legal advice and support to local law enforcement. John’s experience in the public sector led him to the Kania Law Firm where he currently represents local governments in tax collection proceedings as an Associate Attorney.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and a Juris Doctor from the North Carolina Central University School of Law. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, and riding motorcycles.
